The Heart of the Formula
Two pantry minerals do the heavy lifting — gentle on skin, tough on everyday grime.
Washing soda (sodium carbonate) softens hard water and lifts the oils and grime of ordinary laundry, so a single scoop cleans more with less. It's the reason ClearSuds rinses clean without a long ingredient list behind it.
Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) balances pH and neutralizes odor at the source instead of masking it with fragrance. It's also what carries our light essential-oil scent — gently, and never in the Unscented base.

One scoop — about a tablespoon — for a normal load. Use two for large or heavily soiled loads. It's concentrated, so a little goes a long way.
Light and honest. We use real essential oil, not synthetic fragrance, so the scent is gentle on the clothes and fades clean as they dry. If you want zero scent, the Unscented base has none added at all.
It works best in warm or hot water, where it dissolves fully. For cold washes, dissolve a scoop in a little warm water first, then pour it in — that keeps everything from settling at the bottom of the drum.
