How It Works

A scoop, in the drum.
That's the whole method.

No pods, no measuring cups, no fuss. ClearSuds is a simple mineral powder — one little scoop tossed in with your clothes and you're washing. Here's how to get the cleanest, freshest result every time.

The Routine

Five small steps.

Once it's a habit you'll never think about it again — but the first few washes, this is all there is to it.

  1. One scoop per load

About a tablespoon — the scoop in your pouch is the measure. Use two scoops for large or heavily soiled loads.

  2. Drop it straight in the drum

Add the powder to the empty drum first, then your clothes on top. Skip the dispenser tray — powder can cake there instead of reaching the wash.

  3. Warm or hot water shines

It dissolves best in warm or hot water. Washing cold? Stir a scoop into a little warm water first, then pour that in so nothing settles at the bottom.

  4. Run any machine

It's low-sudsing by design, so it's happy in high-efficiency (HE) and standard top-loaders alike — and the simple mineral formula is septic-safe.

  5. Dry and enjoy

Wash and dry as usual. Clothes come out clean and fresh, with any light scent settling in as they dry.

How Much Per Load

One scoop covers most days.

A scoop is about a tablespoon. Reach for more only when the load is big or genuinely dirty.

Honest Scent

What to expect.

Our scents come from real essential oil, not synthetic fragrance — so they're light and clean rather than loud. You'll catch it on freshly folded laundry, and it softens further as clothes finish drying. That gentleness is the point: it won't linger for days or overpower a room.

Want none at all? Choose Unscented — it has zero added scent, just the plain mineral powder. Either way, there are no synthetic perfumes, dyes or brighteners involved.

Tough Stains

Pre-treat the hard stuff.

ClearSuds is a gentle, everyday clean — wonderful for regular laundry, sensitive skin and everyday odor. It is not a heavy-duty stain remover. For set-in grease, oil or protein stains (think collars, sauce, grass), dab the spot first and let it sit before washing.

Treat the powder as your reliable daily wash and keep a stain stick on hand for the occasional accident. That combination keeps clothes looking their best without harsh additives.

Quick Questions

Good to know.

Straight into the drum, before you add clothes. Powder can cake in the dispenser tray instead of dissolving, so the drum gets you a cleaner wash every time.

It dissolves best in warm or hot water. For cold washes, stir a scoop into a little warm water first and pour that in — that way it won't settle at the bottom of the drum.

Yes to both. It's low-sudsing by design, so it suits high-efficiency and standard machines, and the simple mineral formula is septic-safe.

About 150 loads from a Standard or Refill pouch (80 oz) at one scoop each, and about 60 from the Starter (32 oz). Large or heavily soiled loads use a bit more.
